Mohd Zuhdi bin Marsuki was graduated from
University of Malaya in 1994, holding a BSc (Hons)
degree in Geography. In 1998, he completed his
Masters degree in Philosophy of Science with a
specific focus on Environmental Ethics. He left
for United Kingdom in 2006, pursuing his Phd
study at University of Wales, Lampeter and
received the PhD degree in 2009. His PhD
research entitled “The Practice of Islamic
Environmental Ethics: A Case Study of Harim and
Hima” was supervised by Dr Mawil Izzi Dien, a
leading Muslim scholar in Islamic Environmental
Ethics. Mohd Zuhdi was appointed as a tutor at
the Department of Science and Technology Studies
in 1995 and a lecturer in the same department in
1999. He has recently published two book on
Environmental Ethics and Islamic Philosophy and
more than 15 articles, chapters of book and
proceeding papers.
